Our history

Based in Sydney, Australia, City Water Technology (CWT) has been assisting the water and wastewater industry evolve to meet ever more stringent standards for reliable, high-quality drinking water and treated wastewater for more than 30 years. CWT is a water, recycled water, and wastewater consultancy specialising in the delivery of projects across all asset life stages beginning at scoping and options assessments through design, tendering and contract processes to commissioning, operations, optimisation, and upgrades. We also provide documentation and regulatory review services, including DWMS/ IWCM development and updates, risk assessment workshops, approvals and funding assistance, and CCP development and audits.

Since its inception in 1990, CWT has maintained its focus on addressing the evolving and interrelated needs of the water, recycled water, and wastewater industry. CWTs projects have traced the whole of the water cycle from source through to drinking water treatment and supply, to wastewater treatment and safe discharge back to the environmental or appropriation for beneficial reuse.
